Questa passeggiata vi portera’ attraverso il dolce paesaggio a nord-ovest di Londra nella contea di Essex. A partire da Newport, con le sue splendide case medievali a graticcio.
Il percorso serpeggia verso nord per 8 km fino alla vecchia proprieta di Audley End, con la sua villa e il suo parco ristrutturati.
Nel villaggio di Saffron Walden potrete rinfrescarvi al caratteristico pub The Kings Arms o alla sala da tè e ristorante nel Audley End Estate.
Per finire si raggiunge la stazione di Audley Bouth e in un ora sarete di ritorno a Londra.
Nota: Naturalmente d’obbligo una bella giornata di sole perche’ il tracciato potrebbe essere alquanto probblematico in caso di pioggia

The route heads north for 8 km to loops around the Audley End State centred on the sprawling Jacobean mansion of Audley End…
…before heading to Audley End station in the village of Wendens Ambo. There’s a good pub in Saffron Walden, as well as a tearoom and restaurant in the Audley End Estate.
Both Newport and Audley End stations are on the London to Cambridge railway line.
Note: The best is a sunny day because the pathway could be really slippery with rain.
