Good minerality, pear, orange, apricot, a bit of pineapple. Pear is probably the most recognisable, which is used in pear cider.

Prieto Picudo from Matriarch and Rogue Cellar Door – Clare Valley, South Australia.
Prieto Picudo is a Spanish Variety common in the Leon Region, but quite uncommon in Australia.
Definitely a wine with body, it is not the shiraz shiraz, but it resembles the style. Immediately at the palate, this wine goes down pretty well. It has good acidity, and tannins are present and young.

“It is a fermented juice, a pinot noir fermented juice. Acidity is the king of the hill, while the bitterness coming from the tannins is green and intense in the beginning, softnesses are subtle and not intense enough to create a balanced palate; however, it still works well with food.”
